A great doctor, very good at what he does. I had a gastric sleeve with Mr Awad. His after care protocol is strict and extensive, and works!! I am 12 weeks post op and 3 stone down, I feel incredible. Mr Awad is extremely professional and caring.

I am nearly 5 months post operation (gastric sleeve) and literally could not be happier with the results. I have lost 5 stone 4lbs and feel fantastic, and none of this would have been achieved if it wasn’t for mr. Awad. He provided me with excellent and thorough information upon consultation when I was deciding what surgery was best for me, I felt I was in the right hands with him. His experience and his knowledge of this procedure made me feel at ease and I was making the right decision. At the time of the surgery I was kept at ease and reassured by mr. Awad at the operating table which helped with the nerves. All in all I highly recommend Mr. Awad and Tonic to people who find themselves in a similar situation to me. They have been excellent and truly have changed my life for the better! Thank you :-)

I contacted Tonic Weight Loss to discuss my options. I was offered a telephone consultation with Mr Awad at a time and day convenient to myself. Prior to this I completed a comprehensive medical questionnaire and during the call Mr Awad not only confirmed all of this with me, he also discussed treatment options available to me, the procedure itself and explained that I would be sent all the info I needed to make an informed decision, which happened. This helped me to sit down with my family, talk with friends about my decision, and to be able to explain things to them with no pressure attached. On the day of my surgery, Mr Awad again explained everything to me, answered all my questions and provided me with my post op information. All of this was done calmly and concisely which put me at ease. Hours after my surgery Mr Awad came to see and updated me on how things had gone, which were all very positive and he also came to see me before discharge to ensure I had everything I needed. I am now 3 months post surgery and have just had my final call with Mr Awad. It was lovely to hear that I am fully healed now from my surgery.

My experience has been excellent, the dr explained everything to me in great detail before the procedure so I knew what to expect as well as after surgery. I would recommend DR awad & his aftercare team they have been very helpful with daily calls & any questions I had, really great support.
